The practice has a service agreement with 13SICK – National Home Doctor Service. They are open Mon-Fri 12am to 8am and 6pm to 12am, Saturday 12pm to 12am and all day Sunday. They can be contacted at 13 74 25 and will send a report of your consultations to the practice at your request.

Skin Checks

Full body skin checks performed by GPs with specialised training in skin cancer medicine, to identify and remove skin cancers before they become a problem. We may also use a software to closely monitor any moles of concern.

Skin Checks are currently offered by Dr Isaac Hays, Dr Daniel Aitchison and Dr Joanne Chew.

Appointment Structure

Patients will book a skin check appointment with a GP, if you would like a nurse to Chaperone the appointment please let our reception staff know.

During the appointment the doctor will use a Dermatoscope tool to scan your body for any skin abnormalities.

Follow-up and Future Appointments

Any abnormalities detected will be reviewed by the doctor and could proceed to monitoring via yearly follow-up skin checks, a biopsy procedure or an excision.

Diagnosis and ongoing management of chronic diseases such as asthma, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, diabetes.

ADHD Assessments

Currently not accepting new patients for ADHD waitlist from 19/8/2026

We are temporarily not able to accept new patients for ADHD assessment at this time due to excessive wait list, and the need to prioritise existing waitlist applicants and also our regular clinic patients such as students and staff at the university.

In the interim, we suggest your regular GP refers you to another ADHD assessment clinic, such as dedicated ADHD Psychiatry clinics online. We suggest Fluence Clinic www.fluenceclinic.com or Telecare adhd.telecare.com.au

Appointment Information

Comprehensive assessments to identify the ADHD as per the DSM5 Criteria using both general questions/assessment and a structured interview questionnaire.

We will then provide advice/approval for your regular GP to prescribe stimulant medications if indicated. Assessment last over 1 hour and incur a significant out of pocket (gap) fee in addition to a Medicare rebate (usually MBS code 44 or 123).

Eligibility

Only available to patients aged 16+, no history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, no active drug/alcohol misuse.

General Process steps:

1. 30min ‘pre-assessment’ appointment to assess whether you are suitable for a GP ADHD assessment – billed at our standard appointment rates, and occur during normal consulting hours.
2. Organising possible blood tests and ECG (heart tracing) to rule out other conditions or minimise potential side effects of possible medications
3. 1 hour Assessment of ADHD criteria – usually done on a Monday afternoon
4. Provision of a formal diagnosis letter and medication recommendation for your regular GP to follow and apply for Drug of Dependence Unit authority for ongoing prescribing.

General Waitlist information

• Due to high demand and limited assessment capacity, ADHD assessments are subject to a waitlist. Once your name reaches near the top of the list, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for pre-assessment if not already done, and then organise an assessment after this
• Please check with your regular GP if they are willing to do ongoing prescribing of ADHD medications as you will need to get ongoing prescriptions from them once diagnosed
• If you can source corroborating information about the lifelong nature of your symptoms, such as from old school reports, this would be very helpful

Please note:

• Our nurses or admin staff will make two attempts to reach you by phone and/or email
• If we’re unable to make contact after two attempts, you will be removed from the waitlist and will need to get in touch with the practice again to be re-added
• Please keep your contact details up to date with reception, and check your phone and email regularly so you don’t miss us.

Health assessments to identify risk factors for developing chronic diseases, such as the 45 – 49 year old health assessments, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments and over 75 year old health assessments.

Driving medicals (including rideshare medicals), pre-employment medicals and corporate medicals.

Management of acute and chronic wounds such as minor burns, lacerations and chronic ulcers.

Diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders by GPs with mental health training, referral to mental health services such as psychology or psychiatry, or to the university counselling service (if appropriate).

Antenatal shared care, investigation and treatment of hormonal issues, and preventative health care such as cervical screening tests (pap smears), bone density scan and breast exams.

Comprehensive sexual health advice, including the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI) such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, and advice on contraception such as oral contraceptive pill, insertion and removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon), and insertion and removal of intra-uterine contraceptive devices (Mirena and Kyleena).

We are a Yellow Fever Vaccination Accredited Clinic, and we stock a full range of travel vaccines, such as vaccines for Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Rabies, Cholera and Japanese Encephalitis.

We stock a full range of routine immunisations, such as vaccines for Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping cough (dTpa), Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Chickenpox and Influenza. We also stock the full range of vaccines for the National Immunisation Program such as routine childhood immunisations, school based vaccines such as the HPV and meningococcal vaccine, and adult vaccines such as pneumococcal, and shingles vaccines.

Blood test for vaccine-preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B, MMR, Chickenpox, and Tuberculosis, often required as part of pre-placement immunisation compliance checks and pre-employment checks.

Minor surgical procedures for the removal of skin cancers and other skin lesions, and cryotherapy for skin cancers and warts.
