Denise is a GP registrar who has a strong interest in women’s health, sexual health, pregnancy shared care and preventative medicine. She graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2019 and has undertaken multiple rotations throughout South Australia and Darwin.

She has spent the last two years at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and holds a Certificate in Women’s Health and Diploma of Women’s Health. She is also accredited to do IUD insertions.

Sarah has interest in women’s and children’s health. She grew up in Malaysia. She completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide. She then completed her GP training in the country and obtained her RACGP fellowship in 2011.

She also likes to spend quality time with her young children. In her free time, she likes to do photo editing, playing badminton and quilting.

Joanne has been working as a GP since 2008 and enjoys the breadth of general practice, with a strong interest in women’s health, family medicine, mental health and preventative health. She is also accredited to insert and remove Implanons.

Joanne completed her medical degree at The University of Adelaide and is a fellow of the RACGP.

Malene Smith

Malene graduated from The University of Adelaide in 1995 and worked in various areas of General Practice before discovering a passion for student (domestic and international) and young adult health over the past decade.

She is comfortable dealing with mental health, sexual health and travel medicine, amongst regular general practice issues, and is interested in the impact of cultural, family and life experiences on health presentations.

Outside of medicine, she is a lover of all things colourful and enjoys painting, knitting, reading and travelling.

Dr Martin is an experienced GP, with many years of both rural and city experience, which has provided him with a broad scope of practice and seen him develop a wide range of clinical interests. Over the last 15 years he has worked in both Yankalilla and Adelaide, and has developed a passion for working with students and University staff.

Chronic disease, women’s health, contraception, Mirena/Implanon insertion, menopause, pelvic pain, travel medicine, skin cancer, and dermoscopy.

UK trained GP with a wide range of interests including woman and child health, sexual health, travel medicine, preventative care, chronic disease management and LBGTIQA+ health. She is aware of the current increase in challenges in the world and shares a holistic approach to wellbeing including mental and physical health.

Dr Moorhouse’s caring, holistic approach to patients has been influenced from her own personal life experiences, people and cultural curiosity, long life of world travel, mountain climbing, and her biggest challenge yet of becoming a first time mother.

Zori was awarded RACGP Fellowship in 2016 after completing her rotations in a number of GP practices in Adelaide and regional South Australia. Zori previously worked in a number of hospital posts in Adelaide, Darwin, NT and the United Kingdom, gaining experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Infectious Diseases and Microbiology.

Tom grew up in Adelaide and studied Pharmacy at Adelaide University. He later studied medicine at ANU and completed his internship in Canberra. He returned to SA to work as a junior doctor at the RAH and the WCH, before starting GP Training as a Registrar in the Barossa in 2019, and continuing at Adelaide University Health Clinics in 2020. Outside medicine, he enjoys cricket, football, and playing touch footy.

He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2020 and went on to work in various areas of mental health, before going on to complete the Sydney Child Health Program. He enjoys all areas of general practice, particularly the diversity of patients he meets. He most recently worked in an Aboriginal Health role across Adelaide, Ceduna and Port Lincoln. He enjoys spending his weekends hiking and searching for the tastiest coffee roast.
